Not later than three months after graduation or completing the degree
for which the loan was granted, or leaving school for any reason,
I agree to pay a minimum of $100 or $20 per $1,000 borrowed, whichever
is greater, per month. If a payment cannot be made when due, I am
obligated to write a letter of explanation to the office. I understand
that six percent interest is charged on this loan, beginning after
graduation or leaving school. If the loan is not repaid in four
years, the interest increases to 12 percent. I agree to notify the
office of any change of address, school or name.
Also by signing this application, I represent and warrant the accuracy

If you are granted a loan, the funds will be sent to the college/school
in equal installments due to arrive at the institution before the quarter/semester
begins. Further information will accompany your letter of acceptance.
Fair Credit Reporting: Please read carefully before signing.
In connection with the administration of this loan, the Student Aid
Foundation, Inc. may request a routine investigative consumer report
concerning my character, general reputation, personal characteristics,
and mode of living, whereby information is obtained through reference

Check List
Make sure you have filled out the application completely, then press
the submit button, a new page will appear that you must print out and
mail in. Application must be in our office, not
postmarked, by the deadline date.
Before mailing your application, please check that you have done
or included the following: (incomplete applications will not be considered)
- Small photo (stapled to the first page, top right, of the application).
- Most recent transcript/transcripts (showing at least 2 years
of academic history. For example, if a college freshman, applying
for a loan for your sophomore year, you must send a college transcript
and a high school transcript).
- Written and included the essay with your application.
- Answered all questions completely, honestly and to the best
of your ability.
- Check the deadlines (located on the qualification page) and
make sure you follow them. Application for the April 15th deadlines
are NOT accepted before March 1st, so that all information is current.
- Check the loan limits (located on qualifications page) and make
sure you are asking for an appropriate amount. Loans are for ONE
year at a time. We operate on a school year basis, meaning we consider
fall, winter/spring, summer one full school year.
- Sign application in both places.
- Call the office if you have any questions 770-973-7077 BEFORE
mailing the application. Remember: incomplete applications will
not be considered!

Complete privacy statement:
The Student Aid Foundation wishes for applicants to understand how
personal information provided by you on your application is collected
and with whom it is shared. Applicants enter personal information on
the application for the sole purpose of determining your eligibility
to receive a loan from SAF. Each applicant must enter personal information,
relative academic performance, personal interest and ambitions, financial
status and other data needed to determine your loan worthiness. The
applicant also provides names and addresses of references who will be
sent a reference form. Applicant�s information is not shared with any
third nor will your name be placed on any distribution list. All information
provided SAF is held in strict confidence.
If you are granted a loan it will be your responsibility to inform
the institution you are attending or will be attending that you are
receiving a personal loan from the Student Aid Foundation. Funds may
be sent to the financial aid office of the institution or to you personally.
